SI Instruments have developed a Preform Holder, used with Mecmesin Vortex Test Stands, to allow measuring of the closure torque of screw caps. The Preform bottle slips easily into the holder, where the cap is instantly in the centre of the Torque Tester, ready for measurement.

The Preform Holder can be easily removed so the Mecmesin Vortex can be used fo standard bottles
