SI Instruments have developed a Preform Holder, used with Mecmesin Orbis or Tornado Torque Testers, to allow measuring of the closure torque of screw caps. The Preform bottle slips easily into the holder, where the cap is instantly in the centre of the Torque Tester, ready for measurement. The Preform Holder can be easily removed so the Torque Tester can be used for standard bottles.
