										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The 4503B provides a higher standard accuracy (accuracy class 0.05% FSO), and frequency response (10 kHz) for improved dynamic measurements. The optional second measuring range (up to a scale of 1:10 is now available for the smallest measuring ranges (0.2 Nm and 0.5 Nm).</p>
<p>The available output signals include analog voltage and frequency (switchable), as well as, digital RS232. A calibration certificate is provided for each output signal. In addition to the torque signal, the optional rotational speed or angle measurement has resolution of up to 8,192 pulses per revolution and an adjustable pulse rate.</p>
<p>An additional new feature of the 4503B is the absolute zero value, which allows absolute angle positions to be determined.</p>

<p>Compensation of misalignment is required to avoid measurement error and damage to the sensor.</p>
<p>Installation of sensors with fixed housing or mounting support requires double flexible couplings on both sides of the sensor. Each coupling is mounted via clamping hubs on both sides.</p>
<p>The frictional clamped connection guarantees absolutely backlash-free installation.</p>
<p>The inside diameters (ød1 and ød2) of the clamping hubs can be configured individually. This allows integrating the torque sensor into nearly any application.</p>

The modular design uses 4-quadrant active brakes to torque load electric motors from 0.01 up to 25,000 Nm. All types of electric motors can be tested with power ranges up to 500 W and for the lower capacity motors up to 120,000 rpm. A high precision power analyser for electronicdata logging is supplied for data evaluation. The modular software also allows simulations to be introduced.
