SI Instruments is pleased to announce the release of the Manner Force and Torque measuring flange for mining operations. Manufactured in Germany, the flange can simultaneously measure drilling force as well as drilling torque in-line to optimise the drilling process.
The unit has an IP67 rating and has a rechargeable battery pack that is charged inductively. The unit features a radio telemetry system, so no cables are used during its operation.
Any capacity specifications can be manufactured and the low profile design offers fast signal response and minimum impact on existing designs. For further data processing the flange can be integrated to the network via CAN, Ethernet or USB.
