SI Instruments have developed a Preform Holder which can be used with a Mecmesin Vortex Test Stands. This allows for the measuring of the closure torque of screw caps.
The Preform bottle slips easily into the holder so the cap is instantly in the centre of the Torque Tester, ready for measurement.
The Preform Holder is easily removed so the Mecmesin Vortex can still be used for standard bottles.
